The Investiture Ceremony was conducted at the Bhavan’s Bhagwandas Purohit Vidya Mandir, Civil Lines, Nagpur, marking the formal induction of the newly elected Student Council from both Junior and Senior groups—alongside the House Captains, Vice-Captains, and key office-bearers overseeing cultural, sports, cleanliness, discipline, first-aid, and overall coordination This event reinforces the school’s dedication to democratic values by allowing students to vote for their peers to assume leadership roles. It's a pivotal occasion to foster responsibility, confidence, and governance in student leaders.
The ceremonial occasion witnessed student leaders occupying the stage, representing their new responsibilities. The students were bestowed with badges and sashes, by Smt. Leena Varghese, Principal, Smt. Krishna Kannan, Vice-principal, Smt. Ashu Khanna, Primary Incharge and CCA Incharge and Smt. Trupti Tonde, CCA Incharge. The moment, a symbolic handover of trust and authority also had the respective House Mistresses on the stage.
An oath-taking ceremony, administered by the Principal, highlighted the significance of trust and leadership. The ceremony firmly reinforced democratic participation and leadership ethics among students. This was followed by an interaction between the Principal and the newly elected council members. The addressal offered students clear visions of service, accountability, and teamwork.

The school committee consists of School Captains, Vice-Captains, various In-charges and Assistant Incharges like Overall, Discipline, Cultural, Literary, Sports, First-aid and Cleanliness. Following a democratic approach, the elections were held for various posts and students were given the opportunity to exercise their thoughtfulness and decision by electing the leaders of their choice.
Young minds are creative and they always think out of the box. Open Drawing Competition, an extravagant platform for furnishing the artistic skills of students of class I to V was organised in the month of February to enhance the creative, imaginative and artistic skills of the students.
The objective behind the competition was to inculcate healthy food habits and to create awareness regarding the choice of food among children.
Words are more powerful than any weapon". The students proved this statement true in the Slogan Writing competition, conducted by the CCA Department, for class VI to X. The event exhibited amazing linguistic and creative skills
Bhavan’s Bhagwandas Purohit Vidya Mandir Civil Lines Branch was established in 1982 and was the first school under Nagpur Kendra.
