Bhavan’s Bhagwandas Purohit Vidya Mandir Civil lines, Nagpur, organized a Parent Orientation Programme titled “First steps together: Nurturing Confident Kids” on 5th July 2025 in the school auditorium, aimed at fostering stronger collaboration between parents and educators. The event was graced by Adventure and Experiential Learning expert Shri. Avinash Deoskar, renowned Paediatrician and Psychologist Dr. Jaya Shiwalkar, CA and Psychologist Shri. Vikas Gupta, along with Ms. Aonkita Sur and Ms. Rutuja Yewale, Psychologists (team Life Adve), who conducted an engaging and interactive session for the parents of Pre-Primary Classes.
The orientation focused on effective parenting in the modern age, addressing key topics such as managing tantrums, separation anxiety and developing language skills and nurturing a healthy parent-child relationship.
The session received an overwhelming response from the parents. The program concluded with an introductory session by Smt. Sanjukta Pathak, the school psychologist. The Principal, Smt. Leena Verghese, expressed gratitude to Dr Jaya Shiwalkar, Shri. Vikas Gupta and team Life Adve. The programme was compered by Smt. Neerja Verma and Smt. Mrudula Athaley.
